The Sunshine Baseball League
Sunshine Athletics, Inc. offers one of the most competitive Baseball Leagues
in the Country. Our organization prides itself in the creation of events, youth
programming and our progressive website. Our organization is affiliated with
Florida AAU.
Florida AAU Baseball is #1 in the USA
In 1993, Florida AAU Baseball started with one mission, to provide a quality
baseball program for all with the only criteria for competition being age. We
continue to exceed our expectations and in the year ending 2007 we have over
13,000 players and coaches participating throughout the state of Florida.
The Sunshine Baseball League was created to give our members year round
competition in a setting that they select. The league was created for our
members by our members. Some of the many reasons that teams play in the
Sunshine Baseball League are:

Sunshine Baseball Office staffed with knowledgeable personnel to answer your
questions and process your paperwork.

Insurance coverage for general liability and participant accident provided by
AAU Membership though American Specialty.

Certificates of Insurance provided for member clubs naming their facility as
additional insured for practices and games.

Competition starting at age 8:Under all the way though High School Varsity.

Fall League Season that runs from September through December and a Spring
Season that runs from February through June.

Tournaments throughout the state at the finest facilities that count toward
league games.

Coaches meeting bi-annually whereby coaches can make their own schedules while
enjoying a continental breakfast.

League Awards for the Team and individual for the players for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
place finishers for the Fall and Spring Season.

Picture ID cards indicating each player's Sunshine ID number, which indicates his
league age has been verified at the main office.

Requirement of Official Sunshine Baseball League Balls for all competition
thereby insuring quality and uniformity.

AAU National Competitions held at the finest facilities in the country
including Walt Disney World - Wide World of Sports.

Scholarships for Sunshine Baseball Member Teams that place 1st through 3rd in
the Florida State Qualifier who attend Nationals. The awards are divided as
follows: $500. for 1st, $250. for 2nd and $250. for 3rd.

The largest youth sports banquet in the State of Florida honoring our athletes
and coaches for outstanding performance and sportsmanship for League Play and
National Competition.
