Parent Information

This part of our website is reserved for communication with our parents in regards to travel team participation.

When your son/daughter participates in a travel team program, there are several things to consider such as:

1.      Teams do not have any geographical boundaries except those within the AAU Program.

2.      Teams do not have a minimum play time requirement for athletes.  Coaches are given the freedom and flexibility to manage their team.

3.      Each Coach operates their own team with regard to: uniforms, practice, game schedule and tournament participation.

4.      Each Coach is responsible for accurately knowing the age requirements and rules for league and tournament play and passing those onto the parents.

5.      It is imperative that your team meet all deadlines that are imposed to be eligible to participate in events.  Failure to do so may impede your team from participating.

6.      Your coach is your contact and communicator.  Sunshine Athletics is an administrator of the athletic program.  Many of your questions can be answered on this website and we invite you to email us at:  info@sunshinesports.net for any additional information.

We sincerely hope you and your child have the best experience ever in participating in one of the strongest and best leagues in the country.
